What To Expect

We are an Evangelical Baptist Church preaching the gospel to a lost world.

Meeting Times

We meet every Sunday at 11am and 6pm. Please contact us for details of our midweek meetings.

Accessibility

There are steps to the front of the church with a handrail, and a rear entrance with a small step (accessible by most wheelchairs) which leads to a platform lift. Please do ask the person welcoming at the front entrance if you require access to the rear entrance, or contact us in advance so we can make sure everything is ready for you. We have fully accessible facilities, a hearing aid loop and large print Bibles and hymnbooks available.

What Do I Need to Bring/Wear?

You don’t need to dress up or bring anything special to come to church. The good news of Jesus is the gift of God to anyone, no matter your background. Please come as you as you are. If you want a Bible of your own we will gladly give you one, or you can use one in church as you wish.

Upon Arrival

You’ll be given a warm welcome, and a Bible (if you need one).

Please choose a seat, where you’ll find a copy of Christian Hymns. Hymns numbers are displayed on the large boards at the front.

The Service

Our services last for around one hour. Firstly we hear church notices, giving details of upcoming meetings of the church. Then we will sing and pray and hear God’s word read and preached by the speaker (usually our pastor).

If you need to use the facilities, they are through the door to the left as you are looking at the preacher.

Please do stay to talk after the service if you feel comfortable doing so.
